Using Magisterium AI inside ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok

Magisterium AI can be added as a custom connector in ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok. Once connected, your assistant can search authoritative Catholic sources and answer with citations. Authentication happens through OAuth sign-in when prompted.
How to connect in Claude
- Open Claude and go to Settings -> Connectors.
- Click the + and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste https://mcp.magisterium.com and click Add.
How to connect in ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings -> Apps -> Advanced and turn on Developer mode.
- Go to Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste https://mcp.magisterium.com, set Authentication to OAuth, and confirm.
How to connect in Grok
- Open Grok and go to Settings -> Connectors.
- Choose Add connector and select a custom MCP server.
- Paste https://mcp.magisterium.com and sign in with OAuth.
What you can do once connected
- Search thousands of magisterial and Church documents, with citations.
- Look up the Catechism, canon law, and papal writings.
- Get daily Mass readings and the liturgical calendar.
- Explore saints, popes, and dioceses.
Requirements
- ChatGPT custom connectors require a paid ChatGPT plan; full access needs a Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspace.
- Magisterium AI connector use requires an active paid Magisterium AI plan.
Troubleshooting
- If setup fails, confirm the server URL is exactly https://mcp.magisterium.com.
- If prompted, sign in with the Magisterium AI account that has connector access.
