Connect Magisterium AI as a custom connector in ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok using the official MCP server URL.

Magisterium AI can be added as a custom connector in ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok. Once connected, your assistant can search authoritative Catholic sources and answer with citations. Authentication happens through OAuth sign-in when prompted.

How to connect in Claude

  1. Open Claude and go to Settings -> Connectors.
  2. Click the + and choose Add custom connector.
  3. Paste https://mcp.magisterium.com and click Add.

How to connect in ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings -> Apps -> Advanced and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Go to Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  3. Paste https://mcp.magisterium.com, set Authentication to OAuth, and confirm.

How to connect in Grok

  1. Open Grok and go to Settings -> Connectors.
  2. Choose Add connector and select a custom MCP server.
  3. Paste https://mcp.magisterium.com and sign in with OAuth.

What you can do once connected

  • Search thousands of magisterial and Church documents, with citations.
  • Look up the Catechism, canon law, and papal writings.
  • Get daily Mass readings and the liturgical calendar.
  • Explore saints, popes, and dioceses.

Requirements

  • ChatGPT custom connectors require a paid ChatGPT plan; full access needs a Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspace.
  • Magisterium AI connector use requires an active paid Magisterium AI plan.

Troubleshooting

  • If setup fails, confirm the server URL is exactly https://mcp.magisterium.com.
  • If prompted, sign in with the Magisterium AI account that has connector access.
