Requesting a source be added
Suggest a document for the Source Library.
May 11, 2026
Our Source Library grows every week. If an important Catholic document is missing, you can send us a suggestion directly from your account.
Send a suggestion
- Click your name in the sidebar and choose Settings.
- Open the Documents page from the account sidebar.
- Click the Suggest a Document tab at the top of that page.
- Enter the Name of Document and a Document URL to a public copy of the text.
- Click Submit.

What helps us act on a suggestion
- Full title and author / issuing body.
- Year and original publisher.
- A link to a public, authoritative text (for example, the Vatican website, a diocesan site, or a reputable publisher).
- Why the document matters for the library — e.g. "I cite this regularly in my catechetics work."
What we add
We prioritize documents that are:
- Authoritative and widely cited.
- Publicly available in a reliable text.
- Not already covered in the library.
We also respect copyright — we can't always add in-copyright commentary without permission, even if it's popular.
After you submit
We don't always reply to individual suggestions, but every submission is reviewed by our content team. If we add the document, you can find it in the Source Library via search.
