Password-reset email didn't arrive

What to check when your reset email hasn't shown up.

May 11, 2026

If you requested a password reset and the email hasn't shown up, walk through these quick checks.

1. Check spam and junk

  • Look in your spam folder — reset emails are sometimes caught as suspicious.
  • Gmail: check Promotions and Updates tabs.
  • Search for noreply@magisterium.com or magisterium.com across folders.

2. Confirm the email address

  • Make sure you entered the exact email you used to sign up.
  • If you signed up with a social provider (Google, Apple, Facebook, X), you don't have a password to reset — sign in with that provider instead. See Logging in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or X.

3. Request a new reset

  1. On the login screen, click Forgot Password?.
  2. Enter your email and click Reset Password.
  3. Wait a minute or two for the email.
The 'Reset Password' confirmation step that appears after clicking 'Forgot Password?' on the Log in screen. A heading reads 'Reset Password' with explanatory text 'Please confirm your email. The password reset link will be sent to the following email.' Below it the email field is shown (masked in this screenshot for privacy), followed by a black 'Reset Password' button and a 'Back' button. The Magisterium logo sits in the top-left corner.

Each request invalidates earlier reset links, so only use the most recent email.

4. Try a different network

Corporate email filters sometimes delay or drop password emails. If possible, test with a personal email address added to your account, or have your IT team whitelist magisterium.com.

5. Still no email?

Contact us and choose Other or Billing / Subscription. Include:

  • The email you're trying to reset.
  • When you requested the reset.

We'll help you regain access.
