The Confession Guide widget helps you prepare for and walk through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Open the guide

  • Sidebar → Holy Widgets → Confession Guide, or
  • Ask in chat: "I'm going to confession. Please guide me."

What's inside

1. Examination of Conscience

The examination is organized by the Ten Commandments. Each commandment expands into a set of reflective questions you can read through. You can tick questions as you reflect — your selections are kept in the widget for the duration of your session. Tick marks are not saved to your account.

A "my list" summary at the bottom gathers everything you marked, so you have one clean page to bring into confession.

2. Step-by-step guide

A short, clear walkthrough of what to say and do during the sacrament itself.

3. Act of Contrition

Choose between Modern and Traditional versions. Text is shown for each.

Privacy

The examination and your selections are kept on your device only for the session — they're not sent to our servers or saved in your account.

Languages

The Confession Guide is available in several languages. Use the language switcher inside the widget to choose. (Audio is not part of this widget.)
