Pray the Rosary widget

Interactive bead tracker for the Holy Rosary, with audio.

May 11, 2026

The Pray the Rosary widget walks you through the Rosary with a bead tracker, text, and audio.

Start a Rosary

  • Sidebar → Holy WidgetsPray the Rosary, or
  • Ask in chat: "Pray the Rosary with me."
The Pray the Rosary widget. The header has a 'Joyful' mystery selector, share/copy/listen buttons, and a language picker (EN). Two tabs read 'Beginner' (selected) and 'Experienced'. The body shows step 1 ('Make the Sign of the Cross and pray the Apostles' Creed') with the prayer text, followed by step 2 ('Pray the Our Father'). A decorative gold rosary illustration sits on the right.

How it works

  • The widget picks today's mysteries automatically based on the day of the week (Joyful on Mondays and Saturdays, Sorrowful on Tuesdays and Fridays, Glorious on Wednesdays and Sundays, Luminous on Thursdays — following the traditional schedule).
  • Tap a bead to move forward. The full text of each prayer is shown.
  • An audio option lets you pray along; the widget plays the appropriate narration.
  • Progress is shown visually and advances with you.

Choose a different mystery set

  • Use the selector inside the widget, or
  • Open the widget with a specific mystery via URL (?rosary_mystery=joyful, ?rosary_mystery=luminous, etc.).

Beginner vs advanced view

The widget offers two display modes — a beginner view with full prayer text, and a more compact view for those praying from memory.

Other chaplets and devotions

Each of these is a separate Holy Widget, not a mode inside the Rosary:

  • Chaplet of Divine Mercy
  • Stations of the Cross
  • Our Lady of Sorrows (Seven Sorrows)
  • St. Michael the Archangel prayer

Find them on the Holy Widgets page.
