Switching between monthly and annual billing
Change your billing cadence without losing your subscription.

You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time without cancelling and re-subscribing.
Switch from the billing portal
- Click your name in the sidebar and choose Manage Plan.
- Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal.
- Choose Update plan.
- Pick Pro — Monthly or Pro — Annual (or the Organization equivalent) and confirm.

Stripe will calculate any proration automatically:
- Monthly → Annual: you're charged the annual amount, with a credit for the unused portion of your current month.
- Annual → Monthly: the change usually takes effect at the next renewal, keeping you on annual until then. Stripe will show the exact dates before you confirm.
After the change
- Your Pro features continue uninterrupted.
- Your chat history, library, and personalization are unaffected.
- Future invoices reflect the new cadence.

If the change doesn't show up in your billing, or if you see unexpected charges, contact us and choose Billing / Subscription as the reason.
