Diocese and location personalization

Tell Magisterium AI about yourself so answers are tailored to your context.

The more Magisterium AI knows about your context, the better it can match answers — especially for liturgical calendars, local saints, and pastoral questions.

Set your personalization details

  1. Click your name in the sidebar and choose Personalization.
  2. Make sure Memory & Personalization is on.
  3. In About You, fill in any of the following:
    • Sex (Male / Female)
    • City / Country — start typing and pick from suggestions.
    • Denomination — e.g. Roman Catholic, Orthodox, etc.
    • User classification — e.g. layperson, priest, religious, catechist.
    • Diocese — shown when you choose a Catholic or Orthodox denomination; start typing to search.
    • More about you — short free-text bio.
The 'About You' form on the Personalization page, intro text 'Optionally provide some information about yourself to help personalize your experience.' Fields: Sex (Male/Female radios), City / Country ('Search place …' combobox — this is where you set your diocese/location), Religion ('Select religion' dropdown), User Classification ('Undisclosed' dropdown), and More About You (free-text input). A 'Clear saved data' link and a black Save button sit at the bottom-right.

Changes save as you edit them.

Why this matters

  • Diocese informs liturgical calendar context and diocesan-specific saints.
  • City / Country helps answers reference locally relevant teaching, customs, or law.
  • Denomination shapes tone and emphasis.
  • Classification affects whether the AI assumes, for example, the detail of a theological student vs a curious inquirer.

What we don't collect here

  • A timezone picker is not part of Personalization.
  • We don't ask for an address or contact details.

Privacy

These details are stored on your account and used only to tailor your answers. You can update or clear any field at any time.

WhatsApp timezone

If you use Magisterium AI on WhatsApp, you can set a separate timezone preference for WhatsApp delivery from Account → WhatsApp.
