Managing diocese members and settings

Invite colleagues, review organization access, and find the settings available to your role.

Settings brings together your personal preferences and the controls available for your diocese. The tabs and actions you see depend on your role. Owners and authorized administrators can manage the parts of the workspace assigned to them.

Check the organization first

Open your diocese dashboard and choose Settings. Confirm the diocese and selected organization before changing membership or plan details, especially if you belong to more than one organization.

General and Account cover personal settings. Diocese contains the available organization details. Members, Parish access, and My Plan contain the corresponding team controls when your account is permitted to use them.

Invite your team

  1. Open Members and use the invitation controls.
  2. Add colleagues using their sign-in email addresses. The member panel supports individual or multiple invitations, CSV import, and an invitation link.
  3. Choose the appropriate role for the work each person needs to do.
  4. Send the invitations and review pending invitations and current membership in the same panel.

A directory entry for a priest or staff member is separate from a user account. Adding someone to a directory does not invite them to the team or grant private workspace access.

If an invitation is not received, check the address, ask the recipient to check their junk folder, and review the pending invitation before sending another. They should sign in with the address that was invited.

Joining through an email domain

Where domain joining is configured, the owner can manage the automatic-join option for the organization’s verified email domain. Review the domain shown by the control before enabling it.

Domain joining and administrative permissions are separate concerns. Review the resulting member roles; an email address associated with the diocese should not be assumed to carry every owner or administrator permission.

Review parish access

Use Parish access, where available, to choose the diocesan sections offered to parish and member accounts. Read the explanation for each section before changing it, particularly when sharing usage Insights.

These choices operate within the workspace’s existing access rules. They do not turn private team information into a public page, and they do not give a diocesan administrator ownership of every parish account. Parish membership, billing, and ownership controls require the corresponding parish permissions.

Seats and plan details

Use the member and plan panels to review seat usage and the institution’s subscription controls available to your role. Check the plan shown there before making a change; your personal Magisterium subscription and an institutional plan are separate settings.

If a tab is missing or an action is unavailable, ask the diocese owner to check your role and the workspace’s current access. Switching organizations or knowing a dashboard URL does not grant additional permissions.
