Downgrading from Pro to Free

Cancel your Pro subscription to move back to the Free plan.

If you want to go back to the Free plan, cancel your Pro subscription. You'll keep Pro features until the end of the period you've already paid for, then automatically move to Free.

Cancel your subscription

  1. Click your name in the sidebar and choose Manage Plan.
  2. Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal.
  3. Choose Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Your cancellation date appears on the Manage Plan page as "Your subscription will be canceled on [date]". Until that date, you keep all Pro features.

What changes when you move to Free

  • Prompts go back to 90 per week.
  • These Pro-only features are no longer accessible:
    • Reasoning Mode (now hidden / Pro-gated)
    • Voice Mode and Dictation (the live audio service is Pro-only on the web)
    • Canvas Mode
    • Learn Mode (quizzes and flashcards)
    • Document uploads (PDF, image, etc.)
    • Listen (text-to-speech playback of answers and pages)
    • MCP / A2A developer access
  • WhatsApp messages now count against the 90 / week prompt cap (or 10 / week if your number isn't linked).
  • Your chat history, saved responses, My Library, memories, and personalization stay intact. None of your content is removed.

Change your mind

Before your cancellation date, you can re-enable your subscription from Manage Plan — it'll continue billing on your existing cycle with no gap.

Refunds

Cancellation stops future billing but doesn't retroactively refund the current period. If you think you're owed a refund, see our Refund policy or contact us and choose Billing / Subscription.
