Managing your parish public page

Update your parish profile and schedules, choose what visitors see, and check the saved result.

Your public parish page helps people find and contact your parish. It can include a welcome, contact details, Mass and confession schedules, and links to the parish information you make available.

Parish owners and users with content-editing permission can update the profile. Some fields may already be filled from public records; check them before relying on them.

Update the profile

  1. Open your parish dashboard and go to Settings → Public page.
  2. Review the parish name, logo, welcome text, website, address, phone number, and public email fields that are available.
  3. Correct outdated details and add missing information.
  4. Choose Save parish profile and wait for confirmation before leaving the page.

Use contact details intended for parish enquiries. Staff and ministry records have their own editing and contact-visibility controls in Directory.

Keep schedules useful

In Public page, review Mass times, confession times, and the Office hours field. Use the schedule rows to record the day, time, and optional notes for Mass and confession. Make locations clear when the parish has more than one church or meeting place.

Review these entries whenever the regular schedule changes. Saving a new schedule updates the information held in Catholic Intelligence; review any separate parish website or noticeboard through its own workflow.

Choose what visitors can see

Open Settings → Public visibility to review the publication switches for Statistics and Financials. Profile and schedule changes saved under Public page update the visitor-facing information.

For Directory, review the individual staff or ministry record and its contact-field settings. A public directory record does not automatically expose its private contact fields.

Statistics and Financials have separate publication switches. Add and review figures before enabling them. Publishing one of those sections exposes the complete read-only section and future saved updates while publication remains on; it is not a selection of individual charts or years.

Check the result

Open the public parish URL in a private browser window or sign out to inspect the visitor experience. A signed-out visitor may be asked to create a free account to view some details. To inspect those sections, use an account without parish team access.

If information is missing, check that the profile saved successfully. For directory information, check the record and contact visibility choices; for Statistics or Financials, check the relevant publication switch. Your team view may show information that is correctly hidden from visitors.

Changes made in a demonstration workspace may be illustrative or stored only for that demo. Use the parish’s live workspace when updating the public record people depend on.
