How Organization billing works
One invoice for every seat, managed by the Owner or Admins.
May 11, 2026
Organization plans bill for all seats in a single consolidated invoice.
What's billed
- Your subscription is
price × seats × (monthly | annual). - Taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) are added based on your billing address, via Stripe Automatic Tax.
- Everything shows up on one invoice per billing period.
Where invoices live
Organization Owners and Admins can open the Stripe billing portal from Manage Plan → Manage Subscription. From there:
- Download or re-send past invoices and receipts.
- Update the payment method.
- Add or change the billing address and tax ID.

Who pays
- The Owner or an Admin typically holds the payment method on file.
- Members using the Organization plan don't see billing information and are not charged anything personally.
Adding or removing seats
Change the seat count whenever your team grows or shrinks. See Adjusting seats. Stripe prorates the invoice automatically.
Upgrading or switching cadence
You can switch between monthly and annual billing without cancelling. See Switching between monthly and annual.
Personal vs Organization subscription
If you also have a personal Pro subscription, it's billed separately. You can switch between contexts in the account menu — see How do I create an Organization account? for how switching works.
